Finding the serial number on your Helite vest or jacket should be fairly straight forward on most of our products.
If you are having trouble, then here is a quick guide on how to find the serial number.

Try This First
Serial numbers for the Touring, Vented and leather jackets are usually here. Always look at the vinyl documentation pouch that came with your vest or jacket first, as it may have the serial number printed on it.
Turtle 2
Turtle 1 and original serial number location
2) Simply open the jacket and you should see a large white label fixed to the inside of the jacket.
3) You will find the label on the printed label. If it is not there, there should be another smaller label attached to it.
e-Turtle 2
1) The e-Turtle 2 motorcycle airbag safety vest has a serial number in a different location to the mechanically triggered vests. The serial number is located on the front of the vest, under the Helite logo.
2) open the front section where you would normally adjust the straps of the vest. Under the Helite logo.
3) You will see a booklet in this area. The serial number is located on one of these pages (usually on page two).
Original Airvest / Turtle 1
1) The Turtle 2 serial number is very easy to find. Simply open the cylinder compartment on the front of the vest.
2) Once you open the cylinder compartment, you will see a small booklet stitched in to the compartment. The serial number is located on one of these pages (usually on page two).
Zip’In 1 / Zip’In 2
1) This is one of the easiest serial numbers to find. Unzip the cylinder compartment on the front of the airbag.
2) Inside the cylinder compartment you will see a small booklet stitched in to the compartment. The serial number is located on one of these pages (usually on page two).
GP Air / e-GP Air
1) Both the GP Air track vest and the e-GP Air track vest have the serial number located in the same place. The serial number is located on the inside of the front section of the vest.
2) Open the front flaps of the GP Air or e-GP Air Track vest to reveal the front protective section. Open this section as if you were going to put the vest on.
3) Near the CO2 Canister, you will see a large white label. The serial number will be either a) printed on the label b) printed on a small white tab below the main label.
Vented
1) The Vented motorcycle safety jacket’s serial number can be found on the inside of the jacket between the inner lining and the back protector.
2) Open the Vented jacket and you will see the location of the serial number more clearly.
3) Locate the zip to open the vented lining. This is situated on the inside, near the bottom left of the jacket.
4) Once you open the lining you will see the label more clearly. Fold the lining over the top of the jacket to see the label.
5) Once you have folded the lining over the jacket you see that the serial number is either a) printed on the label b) printed on a small white tab next to the main label.
Touring
1) The serial number is located on the inside of the jacket, between the inner lining and the back protector pouch.
2) Open the jacket and lay it on a flat surface. You will need to open the jacket lining by find the zip near the bottom.
3) open the zip at the bottom of the jacket to reveal the airbag and back protector.
4) Once the lining is unzipped, move the back section up to reveal the label attached to the inside of the jacket. The serial number is located on the label.
XENA
1) The serial number of the XENA ladies leather jacket is situated inside the jacket between the additional liner and the main jacket on the left side.
2) Open the jacket . If the inner is attached you with need to find the zip on the left side of the jacket.
3) Unzip the liner and you will see another mobile phone pocket.
4) The tap with the serial number is situated near the secondary mobile phone pocket.
Custom
1) The Custom Leather Airvest’s serial number is situated inside the vest in-between the lining and the back protector.
2) Open the Custom vest and locate the zip near the bottom for the lining.
3) Once you have located the zip, un-zip this section. To find another zip.
4) After Un-zipping the liner, you will find another zip in the centre of the opening. Un-zip this zip.
5) Lift the liner to reveal the airbag and back protector. You will see a large white label with the serial number printed on it.
B’Safe
1) The B’Safe Cycling Airbag Safety Vest has a serial number inside the the left hand side zip next to the Helite logo on the front of the vest.
2) simply unzip the pocket and locate the booklet that is stitched into the vest. The serial number is located on one of these pages (usually on page two).
Love my Helite vest, I wear it eveytime I ride - actually fell off the first time I wore it - typical (!!) but my goodness does it work a treat. 100% recommend.
Great people to deal with, I had a nasty fall from my horse whilst competing and the mesh on my air jacket got slightly ripped. I had to send it back to France to be mended and Helite UK sent me one to use temporarily. Very helpful and friendly. Also if it wasn't for my oar jacket (zip in 2 ) I would have seriously damaged my back
My Helite Turtle 2 has saved me from serious injury twice now. It really has made all the difference. Helite UK have been the best company to deal with, amazing customer service which I cannot fault. An airvest unlike any other. The best by far.
I've had this product for awhile, maybe 2 years and it still seems to be effective. Thankfully I've not had the experience to test it's effectiveness so cannot comment on that
I have just got my Helite airbag jacket back after sending it in for service and a wash. Two things occur to me: (1) I felt really exposed riding without the jacket while it was away, so next time I will go with the hire vest. (2) How much of a difference there is with the jacket now it's back. It has been serviced, including a software update (it's the electronic version) but it feels so nice after being professionally washed and treated. There is also a comprehensive service report for what has been done. Well worth having the service. And this great bit of kit will, hopefully, last longer as a result. I really wouldn't be without it.
I was on a national speed limit road when the car in front of me stopped suddenly. I stopped, but the car behind did not notice. The Police said it hit me from behind at 60 mph. My bike ended up in front of the 2 mangled cars. I woke up with a broken fibula and a grazed right elbow. All the emergency services on scene that day were expecting a fatality. They were amazed on what an excellent job the vest had done. Best purchase I have ever made. I cannot recomend it high enough.
Great vest, not used in anger and let’s hope it stays that way .. it only took a few minutes of riding with it before you forget you’re wearing it. Really good quality.
Bought a Helite turtle 2 for me and my daughter as we ride motorbikes. Easy to use and connect. I did fall off and trigger the jacket to inflate - bike was on its stand, very entertaining for everyone, but me. Reassuring test! Getting replacement cannister and fitting it was easy.
I bought the Helite for my partner, avid horse rider and regular pillion passenger. It's comfortable to wear whether in a t-shirt or over motorbike jacket. A recent, heavy, fall from a horse (over the top of it) on a rough stoney track, showed just how good these are in protecting you. Abrasions to the arms and bruises to the legs, but able to get up and remount after shaking herself down. Given how and where, this would have, most likely, been a casevac situation without the jacket. Top marks.
Utterly terrible customer service. Sold me a product that is out of stock with no information telling me this. I have been waiting for 2 months now for it to arrive with no information whatsoever on when it will be restocked. I have asked for a cancellation and a refund since and I have had no reply. Scammers.
Bought Touring 2.0 Air Jacket direct from Helite UK. First of all, this is a fantastic, well designed, stylish jacket with an integrated air vest.It has a detachable thermal liner; more pockets than I have ever seen on a jacket; and lots of vents for summer riding. There are always compromises with an all-season jackets because of the temperature range it is meant to cover, but the jacket has been well designed to marry safety and comfort as far as possible. Happy that this will be my every-ride jacket, including on European tours.It may seem a little pricey but honestly, if the combined airbag technology and solid protection can save you from a serious or a fatal injury, then it is probably the cheapest purchase you will ever make!Bianca from Helite was great - ran through all features of jacket and set up to bike. It's difficult to leave a review for a product you hope you'll never need to use, but I purchased the Helite Turtle 2 vest on the strong recommendation of a friend who was wearing one during a serious crash. He's convinced the vest saved his life.The quality of the vest is exceptionally good and you'd barely know you're wearing it. Sure, it adds a bit of bulk, but you'd expect that from a product that's designed to protect you.I've been using the vest on my ADV bike.
Absolutely brilliant service and an amazing product worn by our teenage daughter. I take great comfort from the fact she wears this very discreet airbag jacket every time she rides. We bought the jacket along with her youngster a bright 16.2 dark bay TB x warm blood.
An advanced motorcyclist introduced me to the Helite jacket and although expensive it's nothing to the alternative. The sizing info was a bit confusing so a call to Helite was made. What a great call with someone really motivated to protect people from harm. Wanting to keep things simple my wife and I got the Turtle 2 with the lanyards. Don't panic they're not that sensitive and you definitely know when you get off and forget to undo! The jacket makes us feel both warmer and more protected. It does bulk us up a bit but after removing back protectors from our jackets (no need for duplication) it's all fine. So far we're really happy with our purchase. For info here's our sizing. 6'5", 14st = XL, 5'5", size 12, loves layers! = M. Let's hope we don't need to test them but much prefer the odds these give us!
